Jessica Kairé is a Guatemalan artist and educator based in New York. She is also the co-founder of NuMu in Guatemala City, an egg-shaped museum that aims to satiate the lack of other contemporary art institutions in the country. In her individual practice, she alternates between sculpture, performance, video and installation to create works that solicit an active relationship between artwork and viewer.
