Una Pardo Ibarra is an artist from Bogotá, who lives and works in Mexico City. Through videos, performances, publications, and collective practices, her artistic production has problematized the processes of subjectivation related to the consumption of cultural products and their articulation with gender, sexuality, racial and class mandates, and violence. As a Ph.D. candidate in Art History at the National Autonomous University of Mexico/UNAM (Mexico City) her work focuses on how feminist artistic practices contribute as forms of symbolic, political, and cultural resistance and agency, in the environment of violence and precariousness of feminized bodies in Mexico. Since 2015 she has been a member of the art collective INVASORIX (https://invasorix.tumblr.com/).
