Wiktoria Szczupacka is an art historian, PhD candidate at the Institute of Art at Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw where her research focuses on the Polish avant-garde of the 1970s, institutional criticism and women’s work. Her recent published work includes “About Artistic Collaboration on the Margins of Barbara Kozłowska’s Art Practice” in Barbara Kozłowska, ed. Marika Kuźmicz, Warszawa – Wrocław 2020 and “Responsibility Is an Action, Never Simply a Feeling: Zofia Kulik’s Alice’s Adventures in Fucked Wonderland, or, Cleaning Instead of Talking in the Context of the Polish Neo-Avant-Garde of the 1970s” in Zofia Kulik: Methodology, My Love, ed. Agata Jakubowska, Warszawa 2019. Szczupacka has led the Kulik-KwieKulik Foundation since 2016.
